Girls eye is damaged by boys over gelled hairstyle. This is Richard Pids with Eh News. Breaking News reports of a boys overly gelled hair causing serious cuts to a girls hair during a hallway break. lets go to Marly for recent news of the incident.

Hallway noise, people talking, occasional mumbled conversation heard.
Marly
Thanks Richard. I’m here on the scene of the accident with the victim herself Maggie Pentilope. Maggie, can you tell us what happened?

Maggie
I was making my usual route to 3rd period when a boy in front of me looked down at his phone. Before I could save myself his hair went into my eye. My eyelid has serious scratches now. I don’t know if I can handle wearing an eye patch every class break.

Marly
Thanks Maggie. Richard it seems as though the boy has hid from the scene of the accident and can’t be found. I have a bystander here who says he has and “eye” witness report of who the hair gel boy may be.

Eye Witness
Ya I saw it. I think that was Charles Weckabee. He always gels his hair to the max. I couldn’t quite tell though. As soon as his hair was away from her eye he made a run for it.

Hallway noise stops.
Richard Pids
Thanks Marly. It seems that until the real gel boy comes out of hiding and admits to his crime, Hall Monitors will be investigating students with extreme hairstyles.

Piece of Passion Project

I wrote a lot on my passion project so I figured I would only post a portion of it!
This is a little tidbit from my story 'BloodLust' which I post to worthyofpublishing.com everyweek:)

Hailey was going to make getting a meal so much more efficient.
The closer she got to the fire, the eyes on the men grew larger. They were hypnotized by her glowing wings that whisked gently out behind her back behind her tattered clothes and shimmering skin. She was like a glorious star in the middle of the dark sky. She softly spoke to them, "Come, follow me. I will show you what you've been waiting for." She poised her hand and beckoned them to follow her with a smile.
Whether the men were waiting for something or not they dropped everything and stood up quickly to follow her. She then turned away and tiptoed in my direction.
I knelt down and felt the bodily slime slip off of me as I changed. I slid my tongue over my teeth and readied myself.
When the men were quite a distance away from their fire, Hailey scampered off into the trees. The men were confused for only a moment until I jumped out with a growl and slithered my way to them.
I took them one by one to the ground each one as helpless as the next. Sweet blood flowed onto the dirt.
After weeks of nothing to eat, there was nothing more satisfying than the smell of gore.  The taste was even more tempting.
I noticed Hailey make her way to one of the bodies while I sloppily ate one of the men. She knelt down beside him and touched her hand to his cheek.
He shook at her touch but then she began humming softly a familiar tune. He used whatever strength he had left to move his hand up and grasp her tiny fingers. A tear fell from her cheek as the man took his last breaths. Then when he had gone, she began to eat.
When we had finished with the bodies i changed back and we washed up a little in the lake.
I wanted to ask Hailey if she knew the man, but I couldn't bring myself to ask.
We made eye contact in the lakes reflection and she smiled softly, "I didn't know the man Christopher. it must seem odd I do such a thing, but you didn't kill him fast enough. Everyone wants to die in the company of someone they love. Someone to tell them everything would be alright. I wanted to give him what I would have wanted."
I thought about it quietly. She must have sensed I didn't understand what she did.
Hailey took my shoulder, "I know that I still ate him. It would have been a waste if i hadn't but honestly, I felt better."
I still didn't say anything. I just splashed some more water on my face and then stood with anger, "I would never have wanted to die in the arms of someone I love. I wouldn't want them telling me everything would be okay when it wouldn't be for either of us. Its a sick lie you told him." I felt my anger fuse out of my mouth.
Hailey was hiding her face. I knew I had hurt her, but I couldn't take back the truth of what I said. I touched her wings lightly and they flinched, "We better get going if we are going to find Maggie." I said gently.
Hailey stood up slowly and nodded. Her body then went still. Her eyes focused on the dirt and she seemed dazed. Another vision. She spoke, "It's Maggie."

4 Visitors -Finding in Forest

Twigs and leaves crackled underfoot and the sun peaked through the trees occasionally shining in my tired eyes. The chilly morning air prickled my skin and reminded me of my broken heart. Surrounded by thick brown bark was where I belonged, alone. Though so long I had wished to the green spring leaves that someone would find me.
The dirt was barren until filled with two outstretched shadows looming in front of me. Looking up, I saw children of about the same size of perhaps four feet. One a girl whose rosy cheeks slumped downward with her frown making her blue puppy dog eyes stand out against her pale skin. The boy standing in a shrug next to her, held his small sad face down to the ground. The blond hair that was reflecting off their heads was almost blinding in the morning light. Between their feet lay a tiny crumb of bread. The girl nudged the boy lightly and they slowly trudged around me and continued walking past.
As I continued on through the trees my eyes caught a glimpse of crimson. My feet sped their pace, my eyes caught the crimson color again and I ran quickly after it. A girl with dark curly hair running down her shoulders was covered in a red hooded cloak. Her tiny hands grasped a tree and her pale white face turned to look at me with worry filled brown eyes. At the sight of me she let a soft gasp. A basked fell from her arm and crackled twigs when it hit the ground below. She then picked the weaved container up and flew into the thick webbed trees once more.
A singing rang through the oaks. A Baritone sweet melody flowed through my ears and I followed the sound. Quickly, I tiptoed through the forest floor until I had found the source of the singing. A man with broad shoulders and perfect posture turned around. His tan clear face shined brightly at the sight of me. His pearly white teeth glistened along with his metal covered outfit and his soft curly hair fell in front of his shiny green eyes. His face soon dropped to a frown and he continued on into the trees humming to the beat of his long sword hitting the metal covering his thighs.
My shoulders slumped. The bright light sneaking through the leaves made the ground sparkle. Twigs were crackling in front of me. A boy it was. His shortly cut hair bringing out his well cut face features of dark skin. His hands tucked into a hoody and a frown on his face. Slowly, he smiled. I smiled back.
Together we walked through the sweet nature smell of the forest that seemed a lot better now that I had a friend.
