4 Visitors -Finding in Forest

Twigs and leaves crackled underfoot and the sun peaked through the trees occasionally shining in my tired eyes. The chilly morning air prickled my skin and reminded me of my broken heart. Surrounded by thick brown bark was where I belonged, alone. Though so long I had wished to the green spring leaves that someone would find me.
The dirt was barren until filled with two outstretched shadows looming in front of me. Looking up, I saw children of about the same size of perhaps four feet. One a girl whose rosy cheeks slumped downward with her frown making her blue puppy dog eyes stand out against her pale skin. The boy standing in a shrug next to her, held his small sad face down to the ground. The blond hair that was reflecting off their heads was almost blinding in the morning light. Between their feet lay a tiny crumb of bread. The girl nudged the boy lightly and they slowly trudged around me and continued walking past.
As I continued on through the trees my eyes caught a glimpse of crimson. My feet sped their pace, my eyes caught the crimson color again and I ran quickly after it. A girl with dark curly hair running down her shoulders was covered in a red hooded cloak. Her tiny hands grasped a tree and her pale white face turned to look at me with worry filled brown eyes. At the sight of me she let a soft gasp. A basked fell from her arm and crackled twigs when it hit the ground below. She then picked the weaved container up and flew into the thick webbed trees once more.
A singing rang through the oaks. A Baritone sweet melody flowed through my ears and I followed the sound. Quickly, I tiptoed through the forest floor until I had found the source of the singing. A man with broad shoulders and perfect posture turned around. His tan clear face shined brightly at the sight of me. His pearly white teeth glistened along with his metal covered outfit and his soft curly hair fell in front of his shiny green eyes. His face soon dropped to a frown and he continued on into the trees humming to the beat of his long sword hitting the metal covering his thighs.
My shoulders slumped. The bright light sneaking through the leaves made the ground sparkle. Twigs were crackling in front of me. A boy it was. His shortly cut hair bringing out his well cut face features of dark skin. His hands tucked into a hoody and a frown on his face. Slowly, he smiled. I smiled back.
Together we walked through the sweet nature smell of the forest that seemed a lot better now that I had a friend.
